What is Daybook?
Daybook in Tally is a chronological register of all transactions (vouchers) recorded in the system for a specific period. It shows date-wise listing of all entries across all voucher types, providing a complete audit trail. Daybook is the most comprehensive report in Tally, allowing drill-down to individual vouchers for detailed viewing or editing. It's used for daily transaction review, audit preparation, and identifying specific entries quickly.
