What is Revenue?
Revenue is the income generated from normal business operations, typically from sales of goods or services to customers. It's the top line of the profit and loss statement and a key indicator of business performance. Revenue is recognized when earned (under accrual accounting) following specific recognition principles. In Tally, revenue is recorded through sales vouchers and flows into the P&L statement automatically.
