What is IRN?
Invoice Reference Number (IRN) is a unique 64-character hash generated by the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) when an e-invoice is registered. The IRN acts as a digital signature for the invoice and contains encrypted invoice details. Once an IRN is generated, it cannot be edited or deleted, ensuring invoice authenticity and preventing duplication.
