What is UTGST?
Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (UTGST) is levied on intra-UT supply of goods and services in Union Territories without legislature (like Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Ladakh). UTGST functions exactly like SGST and is collected along with CGST. UTs with legislature (Delhi, Puducherry) levy SGST instead of UTGST.
